UPDATE: A traffic hazard of some type has been reported on Hwy 26 at Hagen Court in Valley Springs. Water is coming up through a manhole cover at Hwy 49 and Jackson Gate Road.
Reports of flooding have been reported in several areas of the Mother Lode this afternoon. Hwy 12 was reportedly up to the bottoms of cars near Double Springs. Hwy 12 is also flooded at Cedar in Valley Springs.
Hwy 49 was reported flooded at Hwy 88 in Jackson and Shake Ridge was closed due to Stoney Creek flooding. Other hazards, such as down trees have also been a problem for Caltrans.
