When people call Calaveras elected officials hillbillies and uneducated hicks, its not hard to figure out why.
Just watch a Board of Supervisor meeting. At the Tuesday February 24, 2014 meeting, Chair Pastor Cliff Edsel stated unequivocally that he REFUSES TO "LEARN FROM HISTORY".
He said he only "WANTS TO LOOK FORWARD!" On CAMERA!!
As everyone knows, if you refuse to learn from history, history will repeat itself, but then Mr. Edsel is an extremist in religion, not in government, so he doesn't really care, does he!
