Both Calaveras Supervisor Pontiff Ponte (who was Chair and led the County into a lawsuit) and Supervisor Pastor Cliff Edson, who is the only other responsible Supervisor left, refused to apologize to the voters.In fact, just the opposite happened. Ponte said the ACLU "sickened" her and instead, they both apologized over and over again to a person well-known to have been a drug addict for years, but now apparently has extremist religious beliefs.
What with all that Ponte is now suspected of doing at her other job, where she was fired, you would think she would wise up. But no! Do we need two new Calaveras Supervisors or what???

They should have resigned two weeks ago. No one else will hire them though. Just like Spellman, religious wackos come and go.
