Iditarod Moved North--Not enough SNOW!

The Iditarod is a 1000 mile
stretch of ice for the dogs!

   The famous Iditarod Dog Sled Race had to be move north due to lack of snow in the Anchorage, Alaska area.

   The trek will this year be from Fairbanks to Nome as a result.  They hauled in snow to Anchorage for a ceremonial start just for show.
