Joyce Jean Tanner of Murphys

   Joyce Tanner peacefully passed away at her home in Murphys on March 1, 2015. She was born in
Hayward, Wisconsin in August of 1923.

   She moved to Murphys in 1948,
where she met and married her husband of 65 years, Irvin Tanner.

   Joyce was a homemaker who enjoyed golf, bridge, dominos, puzzles and CHOCOLATE!. She loved the flowers in her back yard by Murphys Creek and her many friends who came to visit and share their lives with her.

   Joyce is survived by her sister donna Rivers, her sons Steven and Larry, four grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

   One of Joyce's true joys was spending time with her grandchildren puzzling or playing cards and
just being close to them.

   A celebration of Joyce's life will be held at the Murphys Lions Club on Saturday, March 7, 2015 at 1 PM. Her sons invite her family and friends (Murphys Scout Hut).
