approximately 55 MPH.
Paz related she saw gravel on the roadway and traveled onto the gravel shoulder, then steered to the left in an attempt to get back onto the paved roadway.
Paz was unable to maintain control of the Toyota and it traveled off the roadway on the north edge of Hwy 12.
The Toyota overturned, colliding with the dirt embankment and came to rest on its roof on top of a barbed wire fence.
Paz remained in the Toyota until help arrived to assist her out of the vehicle. Alcohol and drugs are not considered to be a contributing factor in this collision, but it is still under investigation.
