UPDATE at 7:15 AM: A vehicle that hit its brakes spun out and slid across all lanes of Hwy 99 behind this hazard. It isn't yet known if there are injuries in this collision.
Two CHP units are en route to the scene.
April 7, 2015 at 6:50 AM: A car apparently lost a tire on Hwy 99 at Briggsmore Ave. in Modesto. CHP is en route.
Use extra caution if headed in that direction until CHP can clear the hazard. The car is on the side of the freeway.
