David Lyle Montgomery passed away April 14, 2015 at the age of 56.David was born in San Andreas on October 25, 1958 and attended local schools, graduating from Calaveras High School in 1976.
David enlisted in the United States Army in 1984 and served for 8 years, returning to San Andreas in 1993, where he resided until his death. David was a lifetime member of the VFW.
He was preceded in death by his father Ralph Lyle Montgomery.
David is survived by his sons Michael (Jade) of Palisades Park, New Jersey and Matthew Montgomery of El Paso, Texas, his mother Lou Montgomery of San Andreas, sisters Cheryl (Dennis) McComb of Lodi and Carol (Jim) McConnell of Hurricane, Utah, grandchildren Raina and Jason Montgomery of Palisades Park, New Jersey and many nieces and nephews.
