As usual, there was trouble reported at the USFS Candyrock Shooting Range, next to homes in Hathaway Pines on May 2, 2015.This time it was over a
dog that was being detained by what the Sheriff calls "OUTDOOR ENTHUSIASTS", the nice words for SHOOTERS.
If it isn't the overwhelming noise, the filth and the general concentration of nasty type people, its fear or some type of violent threats, many which go unreported.
Unfortunately, nice people, who have the right to go to that area, find it repulsive, and often are threatened to leave.
We have been told that there are even the less honorable law enforcement people who frequent that place, instead of going to a real gun range to practice. These are the worst of the worst, who like harassing people, instead of being courteous.
Calaveras County passed a NOISE ordinance just for this type of thing. Does the Sheriff's Office enforce it???

I can't believe you are reporting this. It goes on the worst on Saturdays, when their hundreds of members often appear. I know they've threatened your life. You've got guts. Thank you!!
It isn't shooting or guns that we neighbors are against. It's the type of low-life that frequents that place to shoot free and sometimes even stray shots come toward our homes.
We can hear thekm. You should hear how filthy they talk about women, especially the forest service women, who I think are very nice.
Outdoor enthusiasts the sheriff calls them. He's had way too much to drink me thingks. Why doesn't he protect US?
Once , my wife and I went down to see what it was. We were told by this total creep that it belonged to the gun people, a private range.
