OP-ED: Calaveras Chamber of Commerce --Shop Local???? What is wrong????

  Now this is shocking!!   If you own a small business in Calaveras County, you are aware of the climate and economic conditions owners constantly face.

   If you have EVER been a member of what is called the Calaveras Chamber of Commerce,
you also know that they are anything but a help in that area, or most any for small businesses.

   We have been told that they have a big ad on their website Shop Local--Shop Calaveras!  Now that is a total joke. This morning we listened to someone screaming and yelling that they lie!

     We have made attempts to contact the Chamber at their office in San Andreas, with no results.

   Therefore, our story will be told without any answers from their organization.
