Three bills to regulate tobacco in California

   Three new bills have been introduced in Sacramento to try and stem the use of tobacco products among the youth.

   One would raise the legal age to buy tobacco to
21. Another would raise the tax on tobacco products $2 and the third would regulate the new electronic devices.

   There will be a strong tobacco lobby against these new laws, by lawmakers who take money from the tobacco companies.  We will be following these bills and keep you advised.
