Joanie Cooke, 74, passed away peacefully in her home on June 5, 2015 after a long illness.Joanie was born in Martinez to Patricia and Clarence Clinkscale. Though Joanie was a long-time resident of Concord, she resided in Angels Camp the last seven years of her life.
Joanie is survived by her life partner of 30 years, Bart Yool of Walnut Creek; her sons Mark (Lydia), Matthew, and Kevin Reid; grandchildren Krista Meadows, Alyssa and Jack Reid and Alyssa Darby; and great-grandchild Atticus Darby. she also leaves her sister Patricia Oberlies, three nieces, a nephew, one great-niece and two great-nephews.
A Memorial Life Celebration will be held Sunday June 28, 2015 at 2 PM at Legend's, Diablo Creek Golf Course, 4050 Port Chicago Hwy in Concord.
