Roy Edward Hillabush, Jr., age 81, went to be with his Lord and Savior Friday, June 26, 2015.
He was born in Batavio, New York on October 12, 1933 to Roy and Evelyn Hillabush. He served in the military from 1951-1954.
On July 2, 1955 Roy married Joyce curry. Throughout his life he faithfully served his God and church as Deacon, Sunday School teacher and Elder. He was currently a member of the Clements Community Church.
As a school board member, boy Scout leader and child Evangelism Fellowship treasurer, he shared his wisdom.
Roy was a gifted mechanic and talented woodworker and enjoyed making wooden toys for his grandchildren, great-grandchildren and all.
He is survived by his wife Joyce, and their three children: Duane and Marilynn Hillabush of Valley Springs, Brian And Rhonda Hillabush, missionaries with IDEA in the Philipines and Susan and Cannon Stone of Colorado Springs, Colorado.
Other surviving family members include his three sisters: Nancy Daley of Fort Meyers, Florida, Emma Paddock of Pavilion, New York and Karen Hillabush of Cortland, New York.
A Memorial Service will be held on July 3, 2015 at 4 PM at the Clements Community Church in Clements.
