Butte County DA files charges: Deputy Exposed himself to inmates?

    NOT in Calaveras!!

    Just over a year ago, an investigation began after allegations from female inmates at the Butte County Jail that a male deputy had exposed himself and inappropriately touched female inmates.

   Although the deputy resigned that day, Butte County DA is now filing charges against the former deputy, Timothy, J. Hill, alleging indecent exposure, sexual activity with a detainee and sexual battery.

   We have to give credit to the Butte County DA. That would likely NOT happen here, where the deputies are covered for by the Sheriff and we believe, the DA, because of her husbands job working for the Sheriff, and its conflict of interest.
