After a major cable cut in San Joaquin County early on July 15, 2015 disrupted not only 911 service, but internet service to a large area, AT&T believes most people will have service today. It is believed that it was caused by vandals or possible copper thieves.
Those affected were notified by a robo-call late on Wednesday morning after they were bombarded by reports of inability to go online. It does go to show how dependent we all are on our internet service.
