Jack Cox of Copperopolis campaigns for McClintock

Resident on the banks of Lake Tulloch Jack Cox, who was the person who literally, as we were told, wrote the law against renting out your home on Lake Tulloch because he detests
those renters, is now out there loudly campaigning for McClintock and Castle and Cooke.

Supervisor Wright had been the Supervisor who suggested Castle and Cooke leave the County of Calaveras. Wright also said he was happy with the county and the General Plan Update, ending all development.

You forgot to mention Wright said they could take their millions of dollars with them. Wright must really like being the supervisor of a "Legacy Disadvantaged Community". "Legacy Disadvantaged Community is in the general plan. Is he willing to give back his pay raises, past, present and future?
Speaking of pay raises, should the BOS be separated from SEIU pay raises and be required to ask their constituents if what they have done deserves a pay raise. Oh, yes, they have to tell what they have accomplished each year. Did you know Callaway's last year income was $99,000.00 That's another good reason for the above requirement or just fire them every 4 years since nothing changes.
What was Tryon's last year's earnings?

I read this blog's attack on me. Many of us in the community fought to establish regulations on renting houses that allows it but establishes fair conditions. The law has worked well. I have also been pleased to work with my friends and neighbors over the years to stop uncontrolled development on the lake establishing the 20 acre parcels for example in Black Creek instead of another high density subdivision. We worked with local developers to substantially reduce the numbers of homes in their planned community and remove them from the lake. We were responsible for getting the first EIR ever required for development on Lake Tulloch. Working together we have pushed for land use policies that maintain our rural community. Check check out www.laketulloch.org. We also worked to stop the draining of Lake Tulloch and New Melones with the help of public officials like Supervisor Karl Rodefer of Tuolumne County and CCWD Director Dennis Mills . If I am guilty of supporting those efforts working with many others so be it!
