Another instance of people never suspecting their child or themselves could be harmed by a neighbor may well have been proven wrong, this time in Santa Cruz.
The quiet beach town of Santa Cruz
was rocked on its heels around 10 PM last night, July 27, 2015, when the body of a missing girl was found in a dumpster near her home.
A 15 year old neighbor boy has been arrested and was questioned during the night for his possible involvement in what is now a murder.
Again, the suspect "NEIGHBOR from HELL" become a shock to other residents in the area. It should not be a shock; it is natural that the cops should suspect someone close by in any crime that takes place, that they refuse to even investigate.
However, we hear all the time that when someone tells the Sheriff's Office they suspect their neighbor of being the thief, burglar, or whatever crime was committed, the Sheriff's office runs in the other direction.
Perhaps that is one of the worst problems of our Calaveras Sheriff's Office.

omg,it's true. happened to me. deputy ignored our pleas that it was a neighbor. refused to help us at all.
Yeah, they are real quick to blame family members, but often fail to look right next door.

I feel so bad for the parents, both of the little girl and of the boy's parents, who were vomiting and hysterical at the same time. awful for neighbors to be perps
oh, yeah. ours was a burglary with footprints leading in the snow to the house. they still did nothing.
