An explosion in April of this year, 2015 ripped through a not yet completed asphalt plant in Clements.
An older facility sits behind the now splintered new plant. An investigation is still underway. Is that what is going to happen in Valley Springs? How can it be avoided?
Certainly not by our District 5 Supervisor or his Tea Party Planning Commissioner! Does anyone care about the residents of Calaveras County??

The Clements explosion was reported April 13, 2001. No one in the bos chambers seemed to remember hearing about it or being around to hear it. Verify it, it's on the net.
Kearney had been advised of the 2001 explosion before the hearing. He kept it to himself. Kearney and Edson two pee's in a pond, jobs at any cost to the taxpayers, property owners.
