Very interesting conversation with Cal Fire about their current land inspection policies and property rights, etc. They now are trying to take away our FREEDOM of SPEECH!
When I mentioned that in Ebbetts Pass, those people who inspect are called the "Pine needle and tree Nazi's," the Cal Fire person acted all offended.
I wanted to laugh, because I realized that these are office workers who do not go out into the field much, but whose job it is to "administrate" and deal with the public and press.
I received a diatribe about how wonderful Cal Fire employees are; not at all what family members had told me how they love fighting fires; camping with all the guys, good money, etc.
Funny how they never mentioned the Captain in Sacramento who was caught bringing in dancers, hookers, on trial for murder, etc. They also do not want to talk about firefighters caught starting fires.
It seems that they are going to issue an edict: "Whoever calls or refers to the property inspectors Cal Fire sends out as Pine Needle Nazis will be shot or sent to a prison camp for lack of respect."
When I tried to explain that their reputations have definitely gone downhill ever since they implemented the high fire tax and have removed our property rights, they actually inferred that those who do not comply with their power and laws are the ones responsible FOR FIRES!!
They don't feel the ARSONISTS, the RIM FIRE HUNTERS, the careless cigarette smokers, the people WE feel are responsible for the fires, are at all to blame, apparently.
They blame those who fail to follow their MIGHTY LEADER, or call them Pine Needle Nazi's! This has been the joke in Ebbetts Pass for months now. They don't seem to get it!

I had to read through this twice to make sure what they are thinking. I liken this to when Berkeley students started protesting against the Viet Nam war and the government called them COMMUNISTS; wanted to arrest them all.
Now we say "thank goodness for those students or we might STiLL be in Viet Nam. Cal Fire should just take it and be quiet.

I agree with the Berkeley guy. Now that Calfire has been given all this money and power, they think they can rule us totally. What does that make them???

I blame the bureaucrats and SPI's who want allthe free wood who did this to clafire. they are not the same agency now. but they allowed it to happen.
They better build big prison camps to hold us in,lol
