Although he did not want to admit it at first, Calaveras Supervisor Edson of District 1 finally stated that it was his idea to try and get the county to guarantee loans to unqualified homeowners
for solar units.
He actually mentioned that there is someone he knows who wants to apply as the loan agent for these loans in Calaveras County. Always some personal agenda for Edson and his personal friends.
This would end up the same as the last loan program Calaveras issued. We just wrote off nearly $250 thousand due to these losses. This sounds totally predatory and smells very bad!!

I hate to think what the interest rates will be. yes, predatory on the elderly. there are so many these days
It,s supposed to be a low interest loan with the property as collateral. The equipment, normally costing $3500.00 will be provided by the sharks for $10,000.00 with a low interest loan.
Edson wants jobs at any costs to anyone else. There is a newspaper article that he is going to seek a second term. Didn't he use to complain about the homeless and those who continually broke into his restaurant? Now he wants citizens to swim with the sharks.
