Dear Editor:
For nearly my entire life I have lived in California. My family moved here because of the pristine forests and climate with mild winters and plentiful water; a tourist mecca.
This is now gone! Whether it is totally due to climate change or partially incompetent government officials where water is concerned, California is not the place to move to or even visit.
Once the practically non-existent winter is over, it is now the season of drought, water cut-backs for rich farmers and fires that seem to be everywhere and without any control by whoever is in charge.
The rest of our family lives in another state and we are considering moving there to avoid what we feel is a hopeless situation and is badly managed, from the top down.
Hope this letter isn't too many words to print.
