"Throw money in the trash to Destination Angels Camp! Spend, spend, spend!" He was backed up by guess who? Of course, their City Manager McHatten. Do you believe anything he tells you?
Exactly what has Destination Angels Camp done to bring in new jobs or retain businesses (oh, that's right they don't want the old businesses; they want all big box businesses)!

You're kidding? 12 million? In a little town like this? What do they do with it? Seems the mayor is just like that county supervisor who just wants to spend more and more.

This is no surprise. politicians spend as much as they possibly can of our tax money. I bet the employees, including the CAO are all getting big raises.
They give the money to who they believe will help them get re-elected. don't let them fool you.
The City council reduced funding to DAC and ACBA depsite having DAC and ACBA representatives in attendance at the budget meeting. The City council is being responsible and is maintaining reserves at a helathy level.
