UPDATE: The fire did spread into the Robinson Ranch overnight. We don't have details yet. In Amador County, Canyon View, Butte Mountain Road, Clinton Road, Ponderosa Fig Tree Way.
In Calaveras County, the Boston Yales Subdivision from Hwy 26 to Ponderosa. Hwy 49 is closed at Mokelumne Hill.
Cal Fire is updating their statistics of how many people were evacuated last night due to the Butte Fire in Mokelumne Hill and how many sheltered in place.
At least one crew has staged at the Mokelumne Hill store. We will update as we receive more information. Videos of this fire shown on television from the air are terrifying. Many in Calaveras County had a hard time sleeping while this fire raged.
