UPDATE at 10:30 AM: Per Ebbetts Pass Fire, both Cal Fire and EPFD responded to what they found to be a fully engulfed home.
The fire was not allowed to spread into the forest around; a couple of trees were burned during the fire. No one was at the residence at the time of the fire.
An investigation into the cause of the fire is under way.
September 28, 2015 at 10 AM: Firefighters have been battling a house fire on Leslie in Blue Lake Springs this morning.
One witness said it seemed fully engulfed at one point. We have not received details on the outcome yet.
