Dear SierraSentinel.com Editor:
I read the article you wrote about how bad postal employees treat people, especially businesses in Calaveras County.
I am no longer in Calaveras and now have no problem, but I completely understand what you are going through.
The union protects them; no matter what they do, they keep their jobs. They waste money and yes, the ones I knew in Calaveras County were lazy and extremely politically motivated in their treatment of customers.
The real problem is that you have no choice in most of Calaveras County. I'm just letting you know that I feel for all of you and am glad I no longer have to put up with them.
Please do not print my name. They go after people they don't like, or who complain.
Do everything you can by email. That's the only way to hurt them.
R of San Jose now and glad.

With a little effort, they wouldn't have such a bad reputation. For instance, they are vicious to me, but nice to my wife. Weird, but true.
I don't know. I think it's kind of typical of all government employees these days.
It's not really their fault. the postal union practically forces them to be politically active. I was married to one. not now.
lol, yes I never mail anything anymore. use email even for chris. cards.
I'm retired, but do you have any idea how bad management at the PO is?
I like the carrier who delievers my mail. I think she said she's a contract worker, tho, not unon.
Youre right. They did get rid of some of the old drunks and mental cases over the last few years. I heard they were replaced by contract workers who are much nicer. Also heard, though, that the union people treat them badly so be nice if you have one.
I remember one drunk. don't know what happened to him. good riddance, but proably collecting retirement.
How did you all know i'm sick of the PO too? LOng story but they are creeps who could care less about us.
I've been told if they don't get their way, they get violent. Has anyone seen this here?
My God what a bunch of Sissies we have here.
