The Rite of Passage has taken the bulldozer that was supposed to help at Sheep Ranch, to come to Fricot City to protect THEM!
Rite of Passage is the criminal school with felons from the Los Angeles area. They pay NO local taxes and are demanding of every possible assistance. Their vehicles are not even registered in California; only Nevada, so do they pay any taxes to California??
Now they are taking resources to save the Sheep Ranch area, in order to protect their property at Fricot City. Something is not right here!!
We believe the property owners in Sheep Ranch should get priority over Rite of Passage.
The longer this fire goes, the more politics comes into play. The Rite of Passage people have friends in Sacramento. But they are NO friends of the citizens of Calaveras.
In fact, just a couple of weeks ago, the person from El Dorado County, who runs their education facility was charged with DUI and has been asking special favors. Politics rules!!

What an interesting perspective, and so wrong it's hysterical. The staff and students from Rite of Passage evacuated the campus yesterday at around 10 am. They barely had time to get their personal items let alone steal a bulldozer. Rite of Passage pays thousands of dollars in CA taxes every year, and employs about 80 people from the local area. All of their vehicles are registered in CA. And the boys at that school are there to get a second chance. What charitable person would begrudge that!

Rite of Passage employs about 80 people from the community, and the students there do thousands of hours of community service in the community every year. The boys at the school are there from all over the state, including Calaveras and Amador counties. They are there for a second chance...to not give them that opportunity would be uncharitable!
Rite of Passage was the biggest problem the community had until the fire. They are rouge!
