Burning now allowed -- With permits!

  Cal Fire has lifted the burn suspension in Calaveras and Tuolumne counties. Those with valid permits may now burn their yard waste.

   The hours allowed are between 7 PM and 8 AM. Call 754-6600 for allowed burn days in Calaveras County. The usual rules apply and an adult must be at the burn site at all times.

   Cal Fire reminds everyone that individuals can be held civilly and/or criminally liable for any burn that escapes onto neighboring property.
