Mary Sawicki, department head of Health and Human Resources, has been required to make public oral reports to the Calaveras Supervisors weekly on the Butte Fire.
However, everyone we've spoken with feel her reports are nothing but vague statistics and say nothing about what is really going on with the poor victims of the Butte Fire.
The public sees the real truth in the death notices in the area. It's very sad how Calaveras Supervisors can be so unfeeling.

she has always been impersonal, stating stats, but now its more noticeable. I don't even think her facts are accurate now.
I don't believe all the stuff she says about how many they've personally contacted and area all right, either. All right living in a tent??
