Janice Simpson of Angels Camp passed away peacefully at her home on Saturday December 5, 2015. She was 63.Formerly a resident of Huntsville, Alabama, she was born to the late William Oscar Steading and Mary Helen Steading on June 18, 1952 in Fairfield, Alabama.
Janice was an escrow officer with various title companies and retired after 31 years.
She had a passion and love for horseback riding and had won many awards and ribbons over the past years.
She also loved reading, shopping, RV camping with friends and of course, spending time with family, especially her grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband Fred Simpson, the love of her life for 25 years, her stepson Mark and his wife Gina, her stepson Richard and his wife Tammy and her 3 grandchildren Alexis, Markus and Mikayla, and her sister Kelly.
She also leaves her husband Michael, 2 nieces Ashton and Christy and 2 great nieces and 2 great nephews, a number of other relatives, great friends and her beloved dog of 11 years Harley.
A celebration of Life will be held at their home in Angels Camp on January 9, 2015.
Angels Memorial Chapel is handling arrangements.
