UPDATE: CHP has cleared the hazard without saying what it was.
January 21, 2016 at 10:35 AM: Some type of animal hazard has been reported on Hwy 4 near Telegraph below Copperopolis.
CHP is en route. Doesn't indicate what type of animal or what the problem is, so be extra careful.
