Everett Jerome Francis-Singleton died on Sunday, January 10, 2016 in Calaveras County from his battle with pancreatic cancer. He was 72.
Francis-Singleton was born on
August 7, 1943 and raised in Hayward. He retired in Calaveras County in 1989.
He loved to cook and smoke food for family and friends, was an avid Biker, a great outdoorsman and a free spirited man.
He also was a loving son, brother, father, grandfather and uncle. He was deeply loved and will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
Francis-Singleton was preceded in death by his mother Katherine P. Manning-Warner; father George J. Francis, sisters Kathleen Hopkins and Jackie Coffman, nephew Perry Coffman and grandchildren Joseph and Clarissa.
He is survived by his siblings George Singleton, Sheila Silva, and Ed Coffman; his children Jealena and Dale Maxwell, Noreen (Reenie) and Michael Puisis, Jeff and Melissa Jones, Lanetta Jones, Everett Singleton in Illinois, Erik Hagmann, Kathleen Hermann, Ezra Land, Heather Riggs, John Sanders, James (JT) Cain, and Jonathan West.
He is also survived by his grandchildren Evelena, James, Viktoria, Shay, John, Dakota, Cyprian, Austin, Seth, Kayci, Thor, Ragen, Jamian, Erik, Giana, Aaron, Devon, Tyler, Deamon, Elijah, 9 nephews and 8 nieces.
At his request no services will be held. A private ceremony with his loved ones will be held at a later date.
San Andreas Memorial Chapel is handling arrangements.
