On March 19 and 20, 2016 the BLM will bring in around 20 wild horses, burros and mustangs for adoption at Frogtown.
The gates open at 8 AM each day of the event. You can preview the animals on Friday, March 18, 2016 at 4 PM.

The Backcountry Horsemen of California will be holding their annual Rendezvous Event at Frogtown that same weekend in conjunction with the BLM Horse Adoption. There will be lots to see and do, both days, including vendors and food, an art show, seminars and talks, and mounted arena events. There will be an evening concert one night and an evening auction the next night. Additional information is available at the Backcountry Horsemen of California web page.
