UPDATE: Kearney has admitted publicly that he I being recalled. He calls his fellow residents (the people who originally voted for and trusted him) elites now.
UPDATE: Rumors are that Kearney has been SERVED with recall papers.
It appears that Calaveras District 5 Supervisor Kearney won't have to worry about his asphalt plant, his dislike for the residents in D5, his racist vote to keep Wooster, or how many giant developers to whom he can give special favors.Supported by only the Tea Party now, his bad choices, his clear disdain for the people who supported him and his lack of caring for the health of residents, have led to his being recalled!

Kearney's recall is not a rumor. He, apparently, is name calling those who are involved in the recall in facebook format.
Hey, Mr. Kearney, when you're thrown out of office, are those private sector job offers still available to you?

O man. I just read his press release on facebook. HE is the one who is putting the wants of lobbying rich ahead of his constituents. How can he lie? Now I know the Sentinel's been right all along. He is a liar we cannot ever trust again.
The woman vikie rankie gave him tea party money and he owes them. Cannot be trusted. doesn't care about us at all. Oliveira, Edon and him are the worst. They all need to go. He even refused to allow Wright to be Chair cause he thought it would help him campaign.
Mr. Kearney states the asphalt has no adverse affects. If that is so, why is there a Propositon 65, done in 1968 that addresses the harmful effects of asphalt?
Mr. Kearney claims Cal Trans released Mr. Voorhees from his signed, sealed contract with the county for offsite improvements, Olive Orchard Estates. The contract was with Calaveras County signed by Mr. Voorhees and the Board of Supervisors at the time. A legally binding contract, that Mr. Voorhees stated publicly, many times, to the county government, he would complete the contract.
Prior to the release by the Supervisors, none of the purchasers of the project property were notified thru the methodology required by the Bureau of Real Estate of the improvement requirement.
Mr. Kearney calls the folks that signed on to recall him, "elites" and "economic terrorists".
Mr. Kearney, the economic terrorists in this county has been the BOARD OF SUPERVISORS past and present. Mr. Kearney, prior to your election, why wasn't Castle & Cooks' Sawmill Project approved to move forward? WATER! the Planning Director at the time saw the writing on the wall and left for greener pastures. Mr.Edson, Mrs. Ponte, along with two citizens saw to that.
Why is the county in debt to the State for approximately $139,000 for overpayment of Williamson Act payments?
Mr. Kearney, why isn't Calaveras County fulfilling it's obligation to hold public hearings on issues stated in Government Code 65302?
In closing, when is the Board of Supervisors going to fulfill obligations to the people? The people insist on remaining informed so that they may retain control over the instruments the have created (GCS 54950)?

So true. And he campaigns continually, making himself look like a fool. They both should be recalled. Kearney is the biggest liar I've ever seen.
Just curious. who signed the recall papers. Where can I sign?
Soon, there will be people out gathering the necessary signatures to relieve Mr. Kearney of his position.
The people who initiated the recall voted for Kearney, supported Kearney and are Kearney's neighbors.
Is Mr. Kearney an elite economic terrorist? Since he accepted the "Recaller's" support?
