Florence "Flossie" Oneto, age 92, of San Andreas passed away peacefully on
Sunday, April 17, 2016 at Mark Twain Convalescent Hospital after a brief illness.

  Florence was born
July 31, 1923 in Stockton to William "Jack" and Edith Maneely.

She lived in many places as a child during the depression, including Gilroy and Watsonville, but mainly she was raised in Sonora, where she attended high school

After the war they returned to San Andreas where they made their home.

Florence was a homemaker and had great artistic talent.  She did beautiful handwork, from sewing, knitting and quilting to decorating cakes.

After taking lessons from Dorner Schuler, she painted with watercolors creating many beautiful paintings, which she would give to friends and family.

She loved hiking with her friends and picnics at the family ranch and camping in the mountains.

She was active in the Calaveras-Tuolumne Cowbelles for many years and participated in folding cancer dressing.

She was preceded in death by her husband of seventy-one years, Gerard Oneto; her parents Jack and Edith Maneely; her brother Jack Maneely, Jr., and sister Virginia Batchelder.
