According to CHP on May 3, 2016 John Marvin Munn (58) of Angels Camp was traveling northbound on Pool Station Road in a 2007 Ford around 10:55 AM at approximately 40-45 MPH.
Mr. Munn made an unsafe turning movement to the left, per the report, and he allowed the vehicle to leave the roadway and enter the west shoulder.
When the Ford entered the west shoulder it collided with a barbed wire fence. The Ford continued in motion and collided with a wood poke and then a dirt ditch near Riata Way in San Andreas.
After the collision Mr. Munn was transported by ambulance to the Mark Twain Medical Center with moderate injuries.
