Arrest for Heroin in Jamestown

Tuolumne County Sheriff photo
Around 1 PM on Sunday June 5, 2016 a Tuolumne County Sheriff's deputy made contact with Brian Armstrong, 33-year-old Twain Harte resident.

Armstrong was apparently standing next to a vehicle on 6th Ave. in Jamestown, and matched a description given of a man who ran away from a traffic stop in the area 30 minutes prior.

Armstrong was determined to be a Parolee at Large and was arrested and searched. He allegedly had 1.5 oz. of black tar heroin, over $1800 in cash and stolen property in his possession.

Armstrong was booked into the Tuolumne County Jail for the alleged Parole Warrants, Transporting  and Possession of Heroin for Sale and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

The new charges carry a $50,000 bail, but he will be held in custody due to a Parole Violation.
