At the Tuesday, June 21, 2016 Board of Supervisor meeting, Steve Kearney, Supervisor under recall of District 5, spoke before anyone else.He announced that the asphalt plant,
after months of negotiation, was moved to another location. In fact, Supervisor Oliveira, backed him up, saying how thrilled residents of Angels Camp are that they are getting an asphalt plant.
Carson Hill is just outside Angels Camp. We had reported that the new Supervisor Mills was trying to get an asphalt plant in his district. Now he will be happy.

I don't think that Highway 49 through Angels Camp could handle that kind of traffic on a daily basis. I don't think the residents in that area will be happy about the big trucks either.
Well, i' m happy. I'm calling Ford for a job.
