Cliff Edson and Gary Tofanelli will face each other again in November, with Tofanelli three votes ahead in the count last night in the Calaveras District 1 primary.
The runoff should be interesting. Who will Sharon Romano swing her supporters to?
Dennis Mills has
won District 4 Supervisor without a runoff. He was everywhere and sought out every single opportunity to be on TV, went to every community event and therefore won easily due to Tea Party support.
CCWD is cheering too, but they may not be rid of Mills, since he want and intends to keep the money from both jobs.
Measure A won with 60% of the vote even though most people didn't know what they were voting for, according to our questions. Who knows what will happen?

Mills! He will wreak havoc in CC. What a shame. Worst choice but best choice for M. Oliviera. We will soon see what the terrible two will do to our county
So mills and olivera are both tea party subversives, out to destroy our government? Olivera campaigned for him because he feels he is losing kearneys and Edson.
I was really hopeful for our county. Now just feel like doom and gloom. How can this Mills guy keep his CCWD position and still be able to make all the BoS meetings, study the problems and work for the people. He is just plain BAD
I supported Sharon. Now i'll be for Tofannelli. I'm one of the group 'anybody bbut EDSON'. there are a lot of us out there.
