In a press release Amador County Public Health and the Amador County Sheriff's Office of Emergency Services urge residents to prepare for extreme temperatures over 100 degrees this weekend.
The National Weather Service indicates that temperatures will climb and remain above 100 degrees into next week.
Drink plenty of fluids and limit physical exertion, stay indoors as much as possible. Warning signs of heat-related illness at headache, dizziness, nausea, etc. and seek medical aid if necessary.
