Dorothy Elizabeth Caldwell was born on March 26, 1925 in Oakland. She was living at 4290 Filly Lane in Angels Camp and died peacefully at her home on July 12, 2016. She was 91 years old.Dorothy received a Bachelor''s degree in Arts from the College of the Holy Names College in Oakland and became a school teacher.
Dorothy loved the game of bridge, her flowers and most of all her friends and family.
Dorothy is survived by her dear husband Clifford Caldwell, to whom she was married for 67 years.
They had 3 sons, 2 of whom are still with us, Robert and Richard, both residing in Portland, Oregon. They also have 3 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild. She also has a beautiful sister in Houston, Texas, Lois Taber.
There will be a graveside ceremony for the family at Mountain View Memorial Cemetery in Oakland.
San Andreas Memorial Chapel is handling arrangements.
