He was honorable discharged.
Natures first green is gold, her hardest hue to hold,
Her early leafs a flower, but only so an hour,
Then leaf subsides to leaf, so Eden sank to grief,
So dawn goes down to day, nothing gold can stay.
by Robert Frost
Before the accident Larry was a member of Future Farmers of American, where he served as vie president, and was an invaluable member of the family farm, which is where he was happiest.
Larry loved horse back riding, hunting, cars and his friends who were like family to him.
Larry was the third son of the late Floyd Routson, and is survived by his mother Margaret Lemons Hull, brothers Ron Routson Mike Routson, John Leonardo, Joseph Leonardo and his sisters Karen Charles, Linda Truitt and Tammy Thayer.
