Rickie Mae Fry passed away peacefully at home at the age of 80 on Tuesday, July 19, 2016 with her husband, sister and son by her side.Rickie was born on January 20, 1936 in Los Angeles. She has spent the last 25 years in Burson.
She is survived by her husband Wayne, 2 sons Wayne Thomas and Ronald, her sister Margie McLaughlin and brother James Hancock.
She is also survived by grandchildren Scotty, Ronnie, Katherine, as well as 6 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Kathy Ann.
Ricki was very active in her younger days, enjoying bowling and playing cards with the Lodi Newcomers Club. She worked for Calaveras County for 6 years transporting children who lived in foster care. She would supervise visitation between the children and their parents.
She will be missed by all her friends and family. A Memorial Service will be held at the Burson Full Gospel Church at 3201 Hwy 12 on August 1, 2016 at 10 AM.
A donation may be made to the Burson Full Gospel Church or to Calaveras Hospice.
