David Updike, recently from the Sierra National Forest, will take over duties of the Forest Fire Management Officer on October 1, 2016 in the Stanislaus National Forest.We just learned that Christian Schow had been the Forest Fire Management Officer from 2011 to early 2016 when he was promoted.
Updike is described as aggressive in fire programs (clear-cutting)!
