North Shore Lake Tahoe saved from development

     The US Forest Service has made a deal to buy 120 acres on the North Shore of Lake Tahoe to prevent it from being developed and logged by co-owners SPI and Mountainside Partners. We don't know the total price paid.


   They were planning to make a large campground at that location. The US Forest Service believed it would have made pollution to the lake much worse. Millionaires and billionaires from the Silicon Valley are building third and fourth homes on the
Lake.
