Two arrested for vehicle theft in Valley Springs

  On August 31, 2016 Calaveras Sheriff's deputies arrested Matthew Dale Ecklund (34) of Valley Springs at Sequoia Mobile Home Park in Valley Springs.

   Ecklund was booked into the Calaveras County Jail for alleged Vehicle Theft, Possession of Marijuana for Sale and Receiving Stolen Property over $950 in value, all felonies, and for Possession of Marijuana over 28.5 grams, a misdemeanor.  In addition he was booked for outstanding warrants.

   Also arrested at the Sequoia Mobile Home Park was Leah Ruth Robitaille (33) of Valley Springs.

   Robitaille was booked into the Calaveras County Jail for alleged Vehicle Theft, a felony and for Petty Theft, Possession of Marijuana, Possession of a Controlled Substance and Possession of Paraphernalia, misdemeanors. Robitaille also had an outstanding warrant.
