Two Modesto residents were arrested by Calaveras Sheriff's deputies on September 14, 2016, one in Yuba County and the other at ICE.
They were both charged with Human Trafficking, Kidnapping, Battery, Threats with Intent to Terrorize, Planting Marijuana and Possession of Marijuana for Sale, all felonies.
This is a direct result of Calaveras County's new Cannabis regulations. Thank you, Calaveras County Supervisors for passing this emergency ordinance. To continue this clean-up of our county, now we need to pass Measure D.
