UPDATE: We just received a copy of the letter via email that included the B word in reference to a county employee. It also stated "Let's fire the B****" as a headline.
It appears to have been sent allegedly by a man named Carl Stoughton regarding cannabis.
Just to let our readers know, we have requested, under the California Public Records Act, a copy of the letter or whatever it was that was profane to a county employee.
We will let our readers know the result. You are correct that Freedom of Speech is not in effect in Calaveras in our opinion. Amazing how fast things can spread with the internet now.
