Supervisors responsible for debris claims--Strange process

   The insurance adjusters have now informed the Calaveras Supervisors that their failure to put out an accurate RFP and not collecting the reimbursement for their constituents is THEIR responsibility.


   Failure to document properly and contract with companies who are qualified to document and are licensed to properly handle reimbursements. They are responsible for this debacle.

   The insurance adjuster says if homeowners were not insured they do not get debris removal.

   The Supervisors held a long discussion and then voted to allow their tree removal contractor to collect the money from insurance companies.  Very strange indeed!
