During the public hearing on the Calaveras County cannabis urgency ordinance, the CAO stated he didn't want any names mentioned during the comments.
We aren't sure what he was demanding. If people like McAnus and Tunno and others make themselves public by either taking a stand and collecting signatures or making public comments, we don't think the government has a right to SILENCE you for naming them.
Next, the CAO will be sending the SierraSentinel.com notices not being allowed to name these same people publicly. Sounds a lot like Trumpty Dumpty.
That is against the FIRST AMENDMENT Mr. CAO!!!

Isn't this a first amendment issue. Cal County is the worst, most anti--public's right county I've ever seen.
