UPDATE at 2 PM: The Calaveras County Sheriff's Office has reported officially that a three year old girl has drowned in the Calaveras River after sliding down an embankment on the River of Skulls Nature Trail.
Her mother and an infant were also present. The Sheriff's Office is warning everyone to stay away from the rising rivers to avoid this type of catastrophe. We don't yet have the name of the 3 year old who died.
UPDATE at 11:40 AM: A 2nd child has been pulled from the river near Hogan Quarry.
No other details at this time.
UPDATE at 11:20 AM: Searchers have possibly located the victim. CPR is in progress. We will update when possible.

February 10, 2017 at 11 AM: A 3 year old child has been reported at Hogan Quarry in Valley Springs, off the walking trail.
Calaveras Deputy Sheriff's are en route to the scene, where the child may possibly be in the water.
